Founded in 2008 in Ershui, Changhua, Baoyo Food is an ISO 22000-, HACCP- and Halal-certified manufacturer specializing in winter melon tea bricks, winter melon syrup and dried fruits, with OEM／ODM contract production.

2026
《Food Safety, Raised Further》
Winter melon tea bricks, winter melon syrup and dried pomelo peel all sent to SGS for testing, covering heavy metals, 502 pesticides, microbiological tests and aflatoxin — none detected on many items.
2024
Obtained Indonesia's BPJPH Halal certificate (Sertifikat Halal).
2022
Winter Melon Tea Sugar Brick won the ITQI Superior Taste Award (two stars); Dried Pomelo Peel and Dried Guava won the Fun Food Taiwan New Food Trend Award; the Assorted Dried Fruit Gift Box won the Changhua Top 100 Products Award of Excellence; Nantou store opened.
2021
Obtained the Dun & Bradstreet D-U-N-S enterprise certification (No. 65-604-2175); Dried Pomelo Peel won the Monde Selection Silver Quality Award.
2019
First physical store opened in Ershui.
2018
《A Leap in Brand and Facility》
Launched the own brand "Sweego"; new factory commissioned (registration No. 07002522); obtained organic agricultural processing plant certification; product line certified Halal by Indonesia's MUI.
2016
Officially registered as a food processing plant.

Introduced and passed ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System and HACCP dual certification.
2012
Renamed and restructured as "Baoyo Food Co., Ltd." to serve a wider community of customers.

Founded an agricultural produce business in Ershui, Changhua, making traditional Taiwanese winter melon tea from local ingredients.

One of Taiwan's Three Classic Traditional Cold Drinks

Winter melon tea — alongside sugarcane juice and herbal (qingcao) tea — is one of Taiwan's three classic traditional cold drinks. Taiwanese have been processing winter melon into tea since the Tongzhi era of the Qing dynasty (1856–1875), a history of nearly 150 years.
