        The preserved white gourd drink has a very long – more than a century– history in Taiwan. Regarded as one of the three vantage iced drinks, together with sugar cane juice and herbal tea, in Taiwan, it has been drunk by people in daily life. As early as 1856-1875 during the Qing Dynasty, the Taiwanese began to process white gourd to make white gourd drink. This has been done for almost 150 years now. 

★2012 – Taiwan national feast tea: The white gourd and lemon sorbet were regarded as the iced drinks in the national feast.
★2013 – Featured Taiwan tea: White gourd drink was introduced in the CCTV, the largest TV channel of China.

        One hundred years of liang cha (cool tea) in Taiwan – The preserved white gourd drink is an authentic Taiwanese tea that is fused with historic facts and humanistic charms. This mellow and smooth tea fully represents the eating habits of the Taiwanese from the past until the present. The "preserved white gourd drink" is a drink that is nice to be consumed all year round. In the hot summer, a glass of  iced preserved white gourd drink will surely cool you down.
