Besides tea bricks, does Baoyo produce liquid winter melon syrup?
Yes. In addition to winter melon tea bricks, Baoyo produces liquid winter melon syrup.
The two differ in production process, usage, dilution ratio and application, and both are available for wholesale and OEM/ODM supply.
What are the shelf life and storage conditions?
Vacuum-packed series (tea bricks, syrup):
1 year unopened at room temperature. If the vacuum seal is broken, consume promptly or refrigerate.

Single-serve packed series (fruit tea bricks, brown sugar cubes):
15 months unopened at room temperature. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Shelf life varies with formula and packaging. Some items use a preservative-free formula and others are adjusted to customer specification; please refer to the labeling of each item.

Brewed winter melon tea:
keeps about 3 days refrigerated. If it turns jelly-like, it has spoiled and should not be consumed.
Why is calcium oxide (food-grade lime) used in making winter melon tea? Can it be omitted?
Food-grade calcium oxide is a traditional step in making winter melon sugar:
a short lime soak firms the winter melon before it is cooked down, which helps the bricks hold their shape and texture.
It is a long-established practice in this type of product and is used at food-grade standard.

Are Baoyo products made from quality ingredients?
Baoyo's ingredients are selected by our team and tested by accredited third-party laboratories.

How can I tell if a product has spoiled?
For sugar brick products at room temperature, slight saccharification (a lightening of color) may appear over time, and dried petals on the surface may darken — these are normal.
Refrigeration helps slow these changes.
If a product develops an off odor, unusual texture or, in the case of brewed tea, a jelly-like consistency, it has spoiled and should not be consumed.
We recommend finishing products soon after opening for the best flavor.

Can I specify a delivery date or time?
A specified delivery date or time can be requested. Actual timing depends on the delivery schedule and vehicle conditions on the day, so an exact time cannot be guaranteed, but we will arrange to accommodate the request as far as possible.
Why does the thickness of the dried fruit vary between batches?
Our dried fruits are made from fresh fruit, and natural variation in each fruit's size, moisture and ripeness means the thickness of slices can differ slightly between batches.
This is normal and does not affect quality. For OEM orders, cut thickness can be specified.
